Create categories

Creates one or more category based on the input provided in the request body.

The API returns structure of each category created, with details provided in the request body.

Provide the details of the following fields to create categories:

  • Category Name
  • Description
  • Default Search Category
  • Expanded By Default
  • Include In Totals View
  • Hide All Search Filters
  • Long Description
  • Image
  • Search Filter Fields
  • Parent Category ID

If the parent category has products associate with it, the API throws an error.
